The festival was held in the atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 1st Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. This is one of the key activities in the 2025 plan of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province.
Hung Yen province currently has 29 heritages included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages, including the art of Cheo singing and Trong Quan singing - genres closely associated with the cultural and spiritual life of the people in the province.
2025 is the first year the province organizes the Cheo, Ca Tru and Trong Quan Arts Festival with the participation of nearly 300 actors and musicians from 21 communes and wards in the province, performing 42 acts in three genres: Cheo, Ca Tru and Trong Quan. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the troupes brought the audience many unique and meaningful acts, deeply expressing their love for their homeland and country.
The festival is an opportunity for artisans and actors to exchange, learn, discover and nurture talents who love traditional arts; at the same time, it spreads unique cultural values, fosters the identity of Hung Yen people, and contributes to preserving the treasure of national cultural heritage.
