On the evening of June 28, the Nga Bay City Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival 2024 officially opened at the Nga Bay Lake campus (area VI, Nga Bay ward, Nga Bay city).

The program is organized by the People's Committee of Nga Bay City with a series of meaningful and practical activities such as the Nga Bay Delicious Food Contest, a tour of the city's typical tourism products, a reenactment of the Nga Bay floating market, a performance of the love song of a mat seller...

The Nga Bay City Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival, with the theme "Rivers of Memories", is an event that joins the atmosphere of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the town's establishment, 10 years of becoming a type III urban area, 5 years of being recognized as a city, and 110 years of forming the Nga Bay land.

Mr. Le Hoang Xuyen - Chairman of Nga Bay City People's Committee - said that this is an important event, demonstrating the city's efforts to overcome difficulties, recover and develop the socio -economy in general and tourism in particular after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival aims to honor and promote cultural and historical values ​​as well as traditional craft villages, cuisine and local specialties associated with tourism development, contributing to promoting and advertising tourism, calling for investment, creating favorable conditions for tourist destinations, and cooperating to develop typical tourism products of the young city of Nga Bay to visitors inside and outside the province.

"We hope that the festival will be an opportunity for tourism and service businesses to learn about the local tourism potential so that they can invest in building quality tours and routes with diverse products and services to attract tourists to Nga Bay. At the same time, promote the role of businesses in connecting and building attractive and unique tourism products...", Mr. Xuyen advised.

On this occasion, the typical tourism product of Nga Bay City was also announced, which is a program to visit typical tourism products of the city.

Accordingly, visitors will have a tour to tourist attractions such as the bamboo weaving village, Thien An strawberry garden, Phung Hiep communal house, the national historical site "Southern Joint Ceasefire Committee"...

Nga Bay opens a 'feast' of delicious dishes typical of the river delta region

At the Nga Bay Delicious Food Contest, many delicious rustic dishes are prepared and displayed attractively. This is an opportunity for those who are passionate about cuisine or want to discover more delicious dishes from the countryside of the West to "feast their eyes" and enjoy them.
