The two semi-finals of the WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship 2025 to find the championship pair ended on the evening of September 27 at the Military Zone 7 Gymnasium.

The semi-final between Shane Van Boening (USA) and Alex Kazakis (Greece) was a rematch of the qualifying round. Shane Boening won 2-0. Kazakis met his opponent again to "get revenge".

Van Boening started slowly again and lost the first set 0-4. The American player regained his form and won the second set 4-0 to level the score.

Set 3, Kazakis took the lead with a 4-2 victory. Van Boening brought the match back to balance with a score of 4-2.

Tied 2-2 after the first 4 sets, the two players continued to stick together and score "hill-hill" in the deciding set 5.

According to the rules, when the final set is tied 3-3, the players will take the first 4 penalty shots to determine the winner. If the tie is still there, then continue taking each penalty shot.

The importance of the situation made both Shane Boening and Kazakis focused. Both of them stopped at the 13th penalty. Kazakis succeeded at the 13th and leisurely waited for Shane to lose his grip right in front of him. He received the victory very easily after 5 hours and 4 minutes of play.

Thus, Kazakis will meet Chung Ko Ping in the final of the WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship 2025. The match will take place at 4:00 p.m. on September 28 at the Military Zone 7 Gymnasium.

Not long before, Chung Ko Ping had a convincing 3-0 victory over the reigning 2024 World 10-Ball Pool Champion Carlo Biado. Chung Ko Ping only took 2 hours and 13 minutes with an overwhelming score of 4-1, 4-3 and 4-2 against Biado to enter the final of the World Men's 10-Ball Pool for the first time.

The new WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship 2025 champion will receive $70,000 (VND 1.8 billion). The tournament also ended after the final match between Chung and Kazakis.
