Opening of the Cultural and Sports Festival of ethnic groups in Chi Lang commune

The festival attracted a large number of people and tourists to attend.

– On the afternoon of February 29 (January 20), the People's Committee of Chi Lang commune organized the opening ceremony of the Cultural and Sports Festival of Chi Lang ethnic groups. This is the unit chosen as the model festival of Chi Lang district.

The festival is organized in two parts: ceremony and festival. The ceremony part is the incense offering activity at the Chi Lang Victory Monument, Quan Thanh Temple and the local god of Bai Hao village, Chi Lang commune, Chi Lang district, which was held on February 28, 2024.

The festival took place on February 29 with the participation of 11 villages and schools in Chi Lang commune. During the festival, there were many exciting activities such as: beautiful tent competition, roast pig judging, art competition, sports (tug of war, stick pushing, sack jumping, stilt walking).

The festival creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere at the beginning of spring, encouraging people of all walks of life in the area to promote patriotic emulation movements, actively study and work in production, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic development goals and tasks in 2024.
