It is forever the pride and invaluable spiritual asset of the Party Committees, authorities and people of the two localities.

To mark the friendship between Thanh Hoa City and Hoi An City, and at the same time educate the precious tradition to the cadres, party members and people of the two cities, the two cities have invested in and built projects named Thanh Hoa in Hoi An and projects named Hoi An in Thanh Hoa.
In Thanh Hoa city, there is Hoi An park, a version of the Japanese Covered Bridge, a version of Hoi An ancient town, a relief pillar of Thanh Ha pottery village... In Hoi An city, there is Thanh Hoa library, Nguyen Duy Hieu secondary school, Tan An kindergarten, stele at the martyrs cemetery... These works have become typical symbols of solidarity, attachment, and loyalty between the Party Committee, government and people of the two cities.
Along with that, activities to meet, exchange experiences, cooperate in socio-economic development, especially tourism development; gratitude activities... are also organized annually by the two localities.

Hoi An City is a World Cultural Heritage, one of the ten most attractive destinations in the world, with a multi-layered, diverse and attractive cultural depth. Thanh Hoa City with a history of 220 years is the provincial capital, the Thanh Hoa citadel with 98 cultural and historical relics, including 25 national relics, creating a Thanh land imbued with national identity. Therefore, the "Thanh Hoa City - Hoi An City Cultural Week" is organized to contribute to spreading the cultural values of the two cities more and more strongly. This is also an opportunity for the Party Committee, government and people of the two cities to review the cultural and historical traditions, confidently moving towards the future.

"Thanh Hoa City - Hoi An City Cultural Week" in 2024 takes place from April 26 to May 1 with many rich and attractive cultural and sports activities such as: Art program "Young Vitality", "Vivid Summer", "Weekend Rendezvous". Chess competition for primary and secondary school students; "I love my hometown" painting competition for primary school students; chess exchange, traditional martial arts performance, sports dance exchange, Aedance performance...

During the “Thanh Hoa City - Hoi An City Cultural Week”, a culinary culture festival with the theme “Thanh Flavors” will take place to introduce, display and prepare specialties and typical products of units and localities in the province.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of Dong Son cultural artifacts and souvenirs of the Thanh Hoa - Quang Nam twinning relationship; an exhibition of pictures about the history of Thanh Hoa province from prehistoric times to the present; and an exhibition of photos of relics and scenic spots of Thanh Hoa city - Hoi An city.
