On March 2, Cuu Long University coordinated with hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City to organize free medical examinations and provide free medicine for more than 3,500 lonely elderly people, people with disabilities, orphans, workers, students and people in difficult circumstances in Vinh Long province and neighboring areas.

Participating in the program are more than 200 doctors, dentists, pharmacists, medical specialists working at Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology... Here, doctors consult, examine and treat diseases of general internal medicine and surgery; teeth, jaws, face; eye examination, refraction measurement, vision measurement, making and giving free glasses to patients with eye diseases; musculoskeletal examination and treatment... Depending on the disease, doctors will prescribe and give free medicine to people for 5-7 days.

This is a large-scale charity program, organized for the third time at Cuu Long University. Through the program, we aim to share difficulties with the poor, orphans and disabled; at the same time, create conditions for people to access medical services, raise awareness of health care for themselves and their families.
