On the morning of May 4, leaders of Yen Dinh district and two working groups of the district directly inspected the situation, grasped the situation, and directed the recovery work caused by thunderstorms and tornadoes in the communes of Dinh and Yen regions.

The district inspection team directly went to the fields and directed units to urgently implement solutions to help people overcome the effects of thunderstorms and tornadoes.

Through on-site inspections in many communes and towns in the district, especially in key areas for growing rice and crops, including the communes of Dinh Hoa, Dinh Tien, Dinh Tan, Dinh Hung, Dinh Tang, Dinh Lien, Yen Thinh..., Comrade Nguyen Xuan Tung, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, directed units to urgently implement solutions to overcome the affected rice and crop areas. For rice plants that have fallen, crushed, broken, or flooded..., propagate, mobilize, and encourage people to go to the fields early to organize rice bundles into clumps, drain water on the surface of the fields to prevent the rice from being flooded; quickly harvest the area of ​​ripe rice about 80% or more. For corn that is about to be harvested, specifically inspect, urgently harvest the area affected by falling, broken, and contact livestock facilities to purchase for farmers. For other vegetables, drain water if flooded, actively take care of the plants to restore. Regarding irrigation, the district has directed Nam Song Ma One Member Co., Ltd. and agricultural service cooperatives to drain water channels, especially in flooded areas recovering after production; drainage pumping stations urgently drain water into Cau Chay River and Ma River so that plants are not flooded...

On the morning of May 4, affected communes and towns mobilized local human resources and encouraged people to overcome the consequences caused by thunderstorms and tornadoes as quickly and promptly as possible to reduce losses in productivity and output, quickly restore production, take care of crops, and stabilize life.

It is known that on May 3, the District People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 04/CD-UBND on focusing on overcoming the consequences caused by storms and heavy rains.
