Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui The Cuong, Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee, emphasized that the relic of Nguyen Thi An's house is a special address, the place that marked the first time President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked on the way from the Viet Bac resistance base back to Hanoi from August 23 to 25, 1945 to prepare to introduce himself to the people and read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

At this house, Uncle Ho worked with comrades Truong Chinh and comrades Vo Nguyen Giap, Tran Dang Ninh, Nguyen Luong Bang... on the results of the General Uprising in the whole country and prepared for National Day September 2. After that time, the family and the locality were honored to welcome Uncle Ho back to visit in 1946. In 1957, the people of Phu Thuong received Uncle Ho's attention and thoughtful guidance, and those teachings were recorded and passed down from generation to generation to strive to follow. With such typical meanings, on December 3, 2021, the relic of Nguyen Thi An's house was ranked as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Built in 1929, nearly 100 years old, Nguyen Thi An's house has 5 rooms, yellow painted gable walls, Hung Ky tiled roof, and cow tiled roof top. Although it has been renovated and embellished 4 times by all levels and sectors, the house still cannot avoid damage and deterioration over time.

On April 15, 2022, the project to restore and embellish the Nguyen Thi An house relic was approved by the Tay Ho District People's Council in principle for investment, agreed upon by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 16, 2023 and approved by the Tay Ho District People's Committee on October 1, 2024 with a total investment of more than 5 billion VND for the entire project to restore and embellish the revolutionary relic cluster.

After more than 5 months of construction, the project of renovating and embellishing the house of Mrs. Nguyen Thi An has been completed on schedule. The project was honored to be selected as a typical project with a signboard to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
