The first knowledge update course for tour guides in Hai Phong after the merger

This is the first training course held after the merger of Hai Phong city, to serve the exchange of tour guide cards according to regulations.

Lecturers of Hai Phong College of Tourism update new tourism knowledge in 2025 for tour guides.

On the morning of September 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong organized a training course to update knowledge periodically in 2025 (phase 2) for nearly 50 tour guides from travel businesses in the city.

This is the first training course held after Hai Phong city was established, to serve the purpose of changing tour guide cards according to regulations.

Previously, in April 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong completed the training (phase 1) in 2025 for nearly 200 tour guides in the city.

At the training course, tour guides were updated with some new contents related to the state management organization system of tourism, some issues on tourism development policy and management; legal regulations related to tourism and tour guides; measures to ensure security and safety for tourists, and skills to handle arising situations.

Tour guides are also informed about the world tourism situation, Vietnam tourism; new tourism products, mainstream tourism, trends and prospects; key tourism products of Hai Phong city.
