According to the AVP website, Russian artillery carried out a fierce and accurate attack on one of the largest weapons depots of the Ukrainian army in Kupyansk. The targeted attack was carried out by an artillery unit of the 6th Military District of the Western Military District.

Video footage posted online confirmed the destruction of a Ukrainian weapons depot. The depot was located in an industrial area that also housed equipment belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian intelligence had previously identified the ammunition depot and handed over coordinates to artillery for a precision strike.
Witnesses said the Ukrainian weapons depot exploded after the collision. Images released showed fragments of the weapon were seen flying several meters away. This is another example of the Russian military being extremely effective.
