Groundbreaking ceremony of resettlement area serving Ring Road 4 project

On the morning of August 24, the People's Committee of Me Linh district ( Hanoi City) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build technical infrastructure for the resettlement area in Van Khe commune to serve the relocation of households located within the red line of the Ring Road 4 project - Capital Region, the section passing through Me Linh district.

Accordingly, the project to build infrastructure for the resettlement area in Van Khe commune has an area of ​​7.74 hectares with a total investment of about 179.2 billion VND, serving the resettlement needs of 198 households in Khe Ngoai 2 village.

Van Khe resettlement area is located in a prime location, adjacent to Khe Ngoai 3 village cultural house, the people's market and kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools of Van Khe commune. The roads in the resettlement area are connected to Tien Phong - Tu Lap road with a cross-section of 15m, and the Red River left dike road with a cross-section of 13m.

In addition to the land area for housing construction of about 25,000m2, Van Khe resettlement area also arranges more than 11,500m2 of public land, parking lots and green land, creating a highlight of the landscape. The network of green trees in the resettlement area is connected with the green strip of the street to create a continuous green space system. Walking paths, flower gardens, sports fields ... are organized in the form of open parks to serve the entertainment needs of residents.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Me Linh District People's Committee - Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed that the project to build infrastructure for the resettlement area in Van Khe commune will be invested in the direction of a modern, synchronous urban area, with convenient traffic connections, full amenities, and better protection than the old place of residence.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Me Linh district requested that the district and commune agencies closely monitor and strengthen coordination in project implementation; and that contractors ensure technical, aesthetic and construction quality. In particular, the district strives to complete the ground leveling, drainage system, traffic roads, etc. items before December 31, 2023 to hand over land to households. The remaining items such as sidewalk construction, tree planting, lighting system, the district strives to complete in May 2024.

Of which, the residential land area accounts for 6.96ha, related to 438 households in 3 villages: Noi Dong (Dai Thinh commune), Khe Ngoai 2 (Van Khe commune) and Tan Chau (Chu Phan commune).

With the drastic participation of the entire political system and the consensus, unanimity and joint efforts of the people, up to now, Me Linh has handed over 122.6 hectares, reaching 86.2% of the total area of ​​the entire route.
