Female fashion shop owner prosecuted for cutting hair and robbing her love rival's handbag

On May 17, Tay Ho District Police ( Hanoi ) initiated a criminal case, prosecuted and detained Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai (born in 1993, in Bac Tu Liem District) for two crimes of "Robbery" and "Humiliation of others".

Regarding the case, Tay Ho District Police prosecuted two suspects Vu Hoang Long (born in 1992, with 1 criminal record, 2 previous convictions, living in Dong Da District) and Nguyen Cong Anh (born in 1994, living in Ba Dinh District) for the act of "Humiliating others".

According to the investigation, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, a clothing store owner, discovered that her husband was having an affair with Ms. N. (born 2001, in Thanh Xuan district).

After many times of advising her husband to end this relationship, Mai received many text messages from a strange phone number with the content: "Have a husband but don't know how to keep him."

Out of frustration, Mai invited her friend to go with her to meet Ms. N. to talk and resolve the conflict in the Lac Long Quan street area, Xuan La ward. Before leaving, Mai took a pair of hair clippers and asked her friend to invite Vu Hoang Long (a shipper) to go with her as a security guard, and would pay her after the job was done.

Long agreed to go, Mai called Nguyen Cong Anh to come along to help. When they arrived at N's workplace, Mai insulted N for having sex with her husband. Mai asked Long and Cong Anh to hold N's hands and feet and used clippers to cut the victim's hair.

Not stopping there, Mai continued to curse, cut N's hair and hit him in the face and head with a hair clipper despite the victim's repeated apologies.

Before leaving, Mai saw the victim's black Chanel handbag on the bedside table and took it home. When she reached the door, she turned back and used her knee to attack N. in the face, causing the victim to bleed.

At the end of the incident, Mai paid Long 1.5 million VND, Long gave Cong Anh 1 million VND. Mai took the handbag she took from N. and kept it in her bedroom.

Immediately afterwards, the victim went to Xuan La Ward Police Station, Tay Ho District to report.

On March 6, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ho District summoned Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai to work.

Here, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai honestly confessed to her crime. Realizing their illegal acts, Nguyen Cong Anh and Vu Hoang Long went to Tay Ho District Police to surrender.
