In the first half of June 2024, there were 13 bond issuances announced. Mostly corporate bonds in the two financial and banking sectors. Notably, there were absolutely no real estate bond issuances in the month.
The proportion of corporate bonds issued since the beginning of the year has been the largest in the banking sector. Bank bonds account for 57.4% of the total bond issuance. Meanwhile, real estate bonds only account for 31% of the total value.

Since the beginning of the year, the value of corporate bonds issued is VND92,176 billion with about 7 public issuances, worth VND9,378 billion and 85 private issuances worth VND82,799 billion.
The amount of real estate bonds issued only accounts for 31% since the beginning of the year, along with no issuance in June, showing the difficulty in capital mobilization for real estate businesses.
Currently, real estate businesses are also facing great pressure to mature bonds. In the remaining part of 2024, the total value of bonds due is 158,533 billion VND. Of which, 42.6% of the bond value belongs to the real estate group, equivalent to 67,490 billion VND. Followed by the banking group, accounting for 18.5%, equivalent to 29,298 billion VND.
