Checking food safety at production and business establishments on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024

On January 16, the interdisciplinary inspection team of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with departments and branches to organize an inspection on the implementation of legal regulations on food safety (FS) at 3 fish sauce production and trading establishments: Tran Van Huong, NoL fish sauce establishment and Be Hau Seafood Processing Company Limited, Ca Na commune (Thuan Nam).

The delegation inspected a number of contents: Business registration certificate; food safety and hygiene conditions; the use of food additives, chemicals, processing and production support substances; the implementation of product declaration regulations; product labeling for products subject to mandatory labeling, other food safety and hygiene conditions of the facility; taking food samples to test quality and food safety when necessary...

The delegation inspected the processing and preservation process at NoL fish sauce production and trading establishments in Ca Na commune (Thuan Nam).

It is known that from January 15 to 19, the inspection team inspected 12 establishments producing and trading agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the province during the 2024 Lunar New Year.
