Gold prices this afternoon increased by 500,000 VND/tael for buying and 300,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, SJC gold is bought at 95.7 million VND/tael and sold at 96.7 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the gold price increased by 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling.

Not only gold bars, the prices of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds also remained at historical peaks. The price of 99.99 plain gold rings was bought by SJC Company at 94.7 million VND/tael, sold at 96 million VND/tael, stable compared to the morning.

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 2,995.81 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.26% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,768 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 93 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 3.1 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Spot silver fell 0.4% to $33.66 an ounce and palladium rose 0.2% to $967.44, while platinum rose 0.6% to $999.
