Entering September 2025, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) announced the interest rate schedule for savings deposits for individual customers depositing directly at the counter, ranging from 2.1% to 4.8%/year depending on the term.

For the short-term group of 1-2 months, Agribank's interest rate is listed at 2.1%/year. Customers choosing a term of 3-5 months will enjoy an interest rate of 2.4%/year. For deposits from 6-11 months, the applicable interest rate is 3.5%/year.

Agribank updates bank deposit interest rates for September 2025

When choosing to deposit for a term of 12 - 18 months, customers will enjoy an interest rate of 4.7%/year. For longer terms, from 24 months, Agribank offers the highest interest rate in the listed table, reaching 4.8%/year.

For non-term deposits, Agribank applies an interest rate of 0.2%/year. This is a flexible option for customers who want to withdraw money at any time but the interest rate is lower than term deposits.
