Lam Dong has farmers and scientists honored nationwide in 2025

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union has just decided to award the title "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" to 63 individuals and 32 "Farmer Scientists" for the 6th time in 2025.

Among the 95 individuals recognized by the Vietnam Farmers' Union , Lam Dong province has 2 representatives.

That is MSc. Nguyen Minh Dong (born in 1988), Lam Dong Province Center for Science and Technology Application, was recognized as "Farmer Scientist" in 2025. Mr. Nguyen Van An (born in 1970), Phu Phong village, Tuyen Quang commune, was recognized as "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" in 2025.

It is known that MSc. Nguyen Minh Dong has chaired and coordinated with localities to implement 17 topics on raising pigeons in the direction of biological safety, linked to the chain of linking and consuming products and the topic of growing bamboo for shoots in the old Binh Thuan province. Mr. Nguyen Van An is known as a good dragon fruit farmer in the locality.

It is known that this is the content of the program Pride of Vietnamese Farmers, organized annually (2025 will be the 13th year of organization), with profound political significance of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. These individuals will be honored on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.
