Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The cause of the landslides was initially determined to be the effects of heavy rains that have lasted for the past few days.

Authorities recommend that people be vigilant when traveling through steep mountain passes that are at risk of landslides and falling trees, and limit leaving the house unless absolutely necessary during storms.
