On the morning of September 14, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Pham Van Manh - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City College of Industry and Trade - said that this unit is reviewing and coordinating to handle information about charity support from the Club of Cadres of the Association of Resource Assistance.
Previously, information appeared that the Cadre Club of the Resource Association, Ho Chi Minh City College of Industry and Trade announced that it had transferred 11,232,000 VND from the reserve fund to support the people in the North who suffered heavy losses caused by storm No. 3 Yagi .
The notice said that the above amount was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front account via account number 0011001932418, Vietcombank . Attached is a screenshot of the transfer transaction.

This is the remaining fund of the Club after a period of operation and declaration of dissolution on January 1, 2024.
However, after the Vietnam Fatherland Front announced the statement, the amount looked up was 1,123,200 VND, lower than the announced amount of 10,108,800 VND.
On the evening of September 13, the club responded on Facebook.
"Currently, the club has received the arising issues and is reviewing internal information. After the next 24 hours, the club will give feedback to everyone," the notice read.
Secretary of the Youth Union Pham Van Manh affirmed that the Resource Association Cadre Club is not currently under the management of the Youth Union or the School Association. This club was established during the previous Student Association term and was dissolved before the new term began.
The School Youth Union is contacting the Executive Board of the Resource Association's Cadre Club to investigate the matter.

Mr. Manh affirmed that the support of this club is not related to the school's ongoing activities and donations.
"Some information on social networks spread that this was an activity of the Ho Chi Minh City College of Industry and Trade. I confirm that this is completely incorrect. The school's Youth Union has reported to the Board of Directors and will continue to coordinate to clarify the incident," Mr. Pham Van Manh corrected.
In recent days, after the severe impact of storm Yagi, the Vietnam Fatherland Front launched a program to support people affected by storm No. 3.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has initially made public the account statements at Vietcombank and Vietinbank on mass media so that agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals at home and abroad can see and feel secure that their contributions have reached the right address and the supporting resources have reached the people affected by storm No. 3.
Besides the information about the kind-hearted people, there are also many cases of "covering up" and "embezzling" donations when transferring money that is not the announced amount.
