To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), the 25th anniversary of Hanoi being honored by UNESCO as "City for Peace " and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024), on the morning of October 16, 2024, the Capital Women Newspaper coordinated with the Emulation and Rewards Committee of Hanoi City to organize an online exchange program with the theme "Capital Women compete to build a cultured - civilized - modern Hanoi City".

According to Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ha Minh Hai, the exchange program is an important event, honoring and spreading bright examples in the patriotic emulation flower garden, building a civilized and modern capital according to Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks of developing Hanoi Capital to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
