Leaders of the 34th Corps visited and gave gifts to war invalids on the occasion of National Day

(GLO)- On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on August 27, a working delegation led by Major General Nguyen Tran Long - Deputy Political Commissar of the 34th Corps visited and presented gifts to the wounded soldiers - former retired Chiefs of the Corps Command.

At the places visited, Major General Nguyen Tran Long and the delegation kindly inquired about the health and life of the wounded soldiers, and expressed gratitude for the great contributions of the wounded soldiers in the cause of building the 34th Army Corps.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the entire Corps, the Deputy Political Commissar expressed his deep gratitude and encouraged the wounded comrades and their families to continue promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", which are the spiritual support for today's young generation. The Deputy Political Commissar of the Corps also briefly informed about the results of the Corps' political tasks in the first 8 months of 2025, notably training, combat readiness, building discipline, training, mass mobilization and policies. The Corps always strictly implements the directives and resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Touched by the attention of the Party Committee and the Corps Command, the wounded soldiers expressed their joy at the strong development of the unit; at the same time, they affirmed that although they have retired, they always follow and trust in the leadership of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the 34th Corps; and are ready to contribute their experiences to build a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and typical" Corps.
