Setting a new record, domestic gold traded around 133.4 million VND per tael

On the morning of September 3, domestic gold prices increased sharply from 2.1 to 3.1 million VND/tael, bringing SJC prices to a record high. Meanwhile, world gold prices also surpassed the 3,500 USD/ounce mark, but were still nearly 22 million VND/tael lower than domestic prices.

Domestic gold prices have set a new record, trading around 133.4 million VND.

This morning (September 3), domestic gold prices simultaneously increased by 2.1 - 3.1 million VND/tael, to the highest level ever.

At 9:00 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 131.9 - 133.4 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while at Phu Quy Company it was announced at 130.9 - 133.4 million VND/tael.

Thus, the price of SJC gold at domestic enterprises increased sharply to 2.8 million VND/tael this morning.

At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was announced to be from 124.9 - 127.9 million VND/tael (buy in/sell out), an increase of 3.1 million VND; while at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the business announced to be from 124.7 - 127.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 2.1 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices was still maintained at a high level by businesses, in which SJC gold was about 2.5 million VND/tael, and ring gold was 3 million VND/tael.

In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,541 USD/ounce, up 64 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 113.1 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank , nearly 22 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price. This is also the highest difference ever.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,246 VND/USD, up 6 VND compared to the previous session.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,138 - 26,508 VND/USD, an increase of 6 VND. Similarly, BIDV and VietinBank also increased by 6 VND, currently trading from 26,175 - 26,508 VND/USD (buy/sell).

Eximbank listed from 26,246 - 26,500 VND/USD (buy/sell), no change compared to the previous session's close.
