Hung Temple Festival in 2024 will last for 10 days

The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has just reported on the organization of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of the Dragon 2024.

Accordingly, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival and the 2024 Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land will be organized at the provincial level.

The event is chaired by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province from the 1st to the 10th of the third lunar month (April 9 to 18), at the Hung Temple Historical Site, Viet Tri city and districts, towns and cities in the province.

As for the ceremony, the procedures and rituals are performed in accordance with traditional rituals of the nation and state regulations, ensuring solemnity and respect.

The festival ensures a joyful, exciting, healthy, safe, economical atmosphere, creating satisfaction for people and tourists from all over the world attending the festival; organizing cultural and sports activities to ensure reasonable time and location, encouraging socialization at the highest level.

The Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command coordinate to develop a plan to ensure security, order and absolute safety for activities before, during and after the festival.

Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon establish the Organizing Committee for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2024. The Head of the Festival Organizing Committee will assign specific tasks to members. Localities must complete registration to participate in cultural, tourism and sports activities within the framework of the festival before March 10.

The People's Committee of Phu Tho province requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to proactively implement activities according to plan, coordinate with the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site and localities to implement the organization plan to ensure harmony and effectiveness.
