Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 is upgraded

The 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival takes place from October 1 to October 12, 2025 (ie from August 10 to 21 of the lunar calendar), associated with the 725th death anniversary of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan and the 583rd death anniversary of World Cultural Celebrity Nguyen Trai. The event also honors the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac complex, which has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and welcomes the 1st Hai Phong City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

This year's festival has been upgraded in scale and quality, solemnly combining traditional rituals with modern ones, with many new highlights including: Military festival on Luc Dau river with 50 participating boats; Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week gathering hundreds of OCOP products, traditional craft villages, and unique cuisine; introducing new tours "A journey of 5 world heritage destinations", "Following the footsteps of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam" and "Discovering Con Son - Kiep Bac Heritage"; the art program "Hai Phong - The quintessence of heritage land" was elaborately staged, applying modern 3D mapping projection technology to recreate the heroic spirit of the Tran dynasty...

The Organizing Committee of the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival has informed and answered questions raised by journalists. Regarding tourism connections, there is close coordination with neighboring provinces from tour construction, communication and promotion to ensuring logistics services. Revenues and expenditures during the festival are monitored and used for the right purposes. Particularly, the Con Son stream has little water due to climate change and changes in natural water sources; the city's functional branches are developing a plan to restore the landscape, meeting the expectations of the people and tourists.
