Schedule for announcing benchmark scores of universities nationwide

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the university admission scores for 2025 will be announced by schools before 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Currently, many schools have announced specific schedules.

From August 16 to August 20, the Ministry of Education and Training will process admission applications (virtual filtering), ensuring that each student is only admitted to one application.

At 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will enter admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results.

Thus, from the afternoon of August 20, universities can start announcing the benchmark scores. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the first round of admission results must be announced no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

Before 5:30 p.m. on August 30, admitted candidates (including direct admission candidates) must confirm their enrollment on the system (if they wish to study). From September 1 to December 2025, schools will consider additional admissions.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2025, 849,544 candidates registered for admission on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training, an increase of 115,892 candidates compared to the previous year (due to candidates registering for admission to vocational colleges).

The number of applications for university and college admission in 2025 is 7,615,560, with each student registering an average of 8.96 applications.
