'The Association continues to be the locomotive to effectively implement the strategies of the Vietnam Journalists Association'

Currently, the Association's members work at 06 branches.

In 2024, the Executive Committee of the Inter-Association regularly held regular and extraordinary meetings to inform about the activities of the Associations, disseminate documents of the Vietnam Journalists Association for prompt implementation to all members, and promptly report in writing to the Vietnam Journalists Association through the Association's Working Committee.

The Association fully implemented the preliminary and final review activities; actively participated in High Quality Journalism activities, National Journalism Awards, specialized journalism awards, and participated in the National Journalism Festival. The activities were practical and effective.

According to comrade Tran Thai Son, in addition to promoting and fostering professional skills for members, the Executive Committee of the Association also focuses on encouraging and creating conditions in terms of both finance and time, guiding members of the Association to enthusiastically participate in the movement activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Association at all levels, major events such as: National Press Festival, National Press Awards Ceremony, Vietnam Journalists Association Table Tennis Tournament for the Golden Star Cup, sports and cultural activities of local Journalists Associations.

At the same time, the Executive Committee of the Association also implemented the Action Plan towards the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Comrade Tran Thai Son frankly acknowledged the limitations of the past year, when the coordination with related units, connection with other Associations at all levels to enhance training and professional exchange for members was still not much. There was not much attention paid to directing, guiding and supporting the branches to organize specialized activities to directly respond to the practical work of the committees and units.

"Although each member of the association has actively participated in many movement activities, there is still a lack of cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities with other units organized by the association," said comrade Tran Thai Son.

At the Conference, the members highly agreed with the report, and said that in 2024, the Association had many practical activities demonstrating innovation, creativity, improving discipline, capacity, enhancing professional training and taking care of the spiritual life of all members, completing their tasks well. Most members expressed their wish that in the coming time, the Association would continue to strengthen professional activities, organize source activities, sports , cultural and artistic movements to unite members.
