Series of stocks with shocking price increases
In a recently released report, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) said the UPCoM index closed November 2024 at 92.74 points, up slightly by 0.39% compared to the previous month.
Regarding liquidity, HNG shares of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agriculture Joint Stock Company were traded the most on UPCoM with a trading volume of 82.55 million shares, up 12.6% compared to the previous month, accounting for 10.54% of the market.
Next is BSR stock of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company with trading volume down by 54.5%, reaching more than 59.92 million shares, accounting for 7.4%.
Regarding trading prices, HNX said the stock code L35 of Lilama Mechanical Engineering Joint Stock Company with the strongest price increase in November was VND6,200, an increase of 138.46% compared to the previous month.
Next is TRT of RedstarCera Joint Stock Company with a closing price of VND 23,800, up 98.33%.
In addition, in the group with the strongest price increase, there is also SQC of Saigon - Quy Nhon Mineral Joint Stock Company, VDT of Binh Tay Steel Mesh Joint Stock Company, DXL of Lang Son Tourism and Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
Meanwhile, on the HNX floor, the index closed at 224.64 points, down 0.75% compared to last month with a sharp decrease in liquidity.
This November, according to HNX, the two stocks with the best liquidity on HNX continue to be SHS and CEO. These are also the two stocks with the largest trading volume in the market since the beginning of the year.
Regarding price, HNX said the strongest increase was the stock code HGM of Ha Giang Mechanical and Mineral Joint Stock Company with the closing price at the last trading session of November increasing by 59.57%, reaching 150,000 VND/share.
Ranked second is CAN stock of Ha Long Canned Food Joint Stock Company with an increase of 57.3%, reaching 56,000 VND/share. Following that is TFC stock of Trang Joint Stock Company with an increase of 39.21%, reaching 45,800 VND/share.
In addition, SGH shares of Saigon Hotel Joint Stock Company increased by 33.33%, reaching VND36,000/share.
Which stocks are foreign net sellers the strongest?
The Hanoi Stock Exchange also said that foreign investors continued to net sell stocks listed on the HNX in November, after temporarily stopping net buying since September.
PVS is the stock code traded the most by foreign investors, accounting for 25.2% with a buying volume of more than 7.6 million shares and a selling volume of more than 10.4 million shares.
SHS shares are still among the most traded by foreign investors, but this month trading has decreased, accounting for 16.8% with a buying volume of more than 2.2 million and selling volume of more than 9.8 million shares.
Ranked 3rd is IDC stock when this stock accounts for 11.2%, corresponding to foreign buying volume reaching 2.8 million shares and selling more than 5.2 million shares.
Meanwhile, on the UpCOM floor, after 2 months of net selling in September and October, foreign investors returned to net buying on this floor with a net buying value of more than 459 billion VND.
The stock bought the most by foreign investors was HNG of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agriculture Joint Stock Company with more than 5.2 million shares (accounting for 36.18%), followed by MCH of Masan Consumer Goods Joint Stock Company with more than 2.6 million shares (reaching 18.21%).
On the selling side, HNG of Hoang Anh Gia Lai International Agriculture Joint Stock Company was also the stock sold the most by foreign investors with more than 4 million shares, accounting for 38.11%.
Next is stock code ACV of Vietnam Airports Corporation with a selling volume of more than 1.24 million shares.
