Directly inspecting the landslide situation and the work to overcome the consequences, the Deputy Director requested the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command to increase forces and vehicles, closely coordinate with the forces present at the scene to speed up the search and rescue work. At the family of Captain Le Anh Sang, one of the three traffic police officers who died in the landslide on July 30, Major General Pham Van Ty sent his deepest condolences from the head of the Ministry of National Defense to the family members, expressing his infinite sorrow for the noble sacrifice of Captain Le Anh Sang while performing his duties, to ensure the safety of people and vehicles when traveling through Bao Loc Pass.

Major General Pham Van Ty said that the Ministry of National Defense has asked the Military Region 7 Command and the Engineering Command to prepare forces and means, ready to respond when requested by the locality; units in the entire army to strengthen on-duty work, ready to respond to natural disasters, storms and floods. Protect the lives and property of the people, especially for military units stationed in Lam Dong province in particular and the Central Highlands region in general.

Military officers and soldiers of Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province support local schools to avoid floods.

On July 30 and 31, Lam Dong Provincial Military Command mobilized 345 officers and soldiers to participate in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, searching and rescuing at many important and dangerous locations in the whole province. Particularly at the landslide point on Bao Loc Pass, the Provincial Military Command mobilized officers and soldiers of Bao Loc City Military Command and Da Huoai District Military Command to coordinate with other forces to participate in rescue work on both sides of the landslide point. Bao Loc City Military Command mobilized 25 officers, 1 regular militia platoon of Bao Loc City and all militia forces of the communes, not only participating in rescue work on the pass but also helping Dai Lao and Loc Chau communes... evacuate people and property from the danger zone.

Colonel Nguyen Binh Son, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said that according to the forecast of the Lam Dong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in the coming days, the locality will continue to have heavy rains, and the Dong Nai 2 Hydropower Reservoir is releasing floodwaters. It is forecasted that many places will be deeply flooded, with a high risk of landslides. Therefore, 100% of the military units in the entire province will be on duty, fully prepared with people and equipment, ready to respond to natural disasters.
