This is a loan package with an unprecedented support policy in the market: fixed interest rate of 5.5%/year for the first 3 years; no principal repayment for the first 5 years; loan term up to 40 years.

The special feature of the loan package is that BIDV clearly announces the interest rate after the preferential period, calculated based on the 24-month savings interest rate plus a margin of 3%/year. According to Ms. Pham Phuong Lan, Deputy Head of BIDV Retail Banking: "Through this preferential loan package, BIDV hopes to create the most favorable financial conditions for young people to confidently own their own dream home, proactively manage their personal finances, build their future careers and lives, and contribute to the overall development of the country."

Ms. Lan also shared some notes for customers before deciding to take out a home loan: clearly identify your needs and financial capacity to choose the right loan; proactively create a specific debt repayment plan, calculate long-term cash flow; make the most of the 5-year principal grace period to stabilize your income before entering the full repayment period.
