By the afternoon of September 16, Huu Binh Company Limited had sold about 21,000 moon cakes, accounting for about 70% of the total number of cakes produced.
According to the company representative, the reason for the decrease in the number of customers buying moon cakes is due to the storm and flood situation, many places in the province do not celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival for children. Huu Binh moon cakes are sold at prices ranging from 27,000 to 248,000 VND/piece (weight from 70-650g).
According to the sales supervisor of Kinh Do bakery in Hai Duong, at the same time, there were about 100 customers coming to buy at the company's counters every day, equivalent to last year's Mid-Autumn Festival. By the afternoon of September 16, Kinh Do had sold about 230,000 moon cakes in the Hai Duong market, reaching about 95% of the total number of cakes distributed to this market. Kinh Do's retail cakes are sold from 45,000 to 410,000 VND/piece (weighing from 120-800g).
These are the two cake brands with the largest market share in Hai Duong during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival.
