Mac mini, MacBook Pro M4 to launch in October?

Not long ago, researcher Ross Young said that the shipment of new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will start in the third quarter and the new MacBook models are expected to be launched later this year.

Mark Gurman (journalist of Bloomberg) also revealed that Apple is accelerating the development of the next generation M4 chip. This chip line is expected to be equipped on Macs launched later this year and is designed to highlight AI processing capabilities.

This month’s Mac updates are more significant than a year ago, according to sources. The 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros will be available with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. The new processors are likely to be built on a 3nm process but will be more powerful than the M4 chips in the iPad Pro that launched in May.

Apple typically introduces standard chips first on the MacBook Air or iPad Pro, then releases higher-end chips for the Pro line.
