Strong price cuts, iPhone sales skyrocket in China

The survey found that more than half of respondents said they would be willing to spend more than $550 on their next phone, while only 33% currently own a high-end model. This data shows the premiumization trend among Chinese consumers and their fatigue after a long wait for Huawei's high-end models, forcing them to switch to Apple products.

Although the iPhone 15 series has seen double-digit sales declines in China recently, the company's aggressive pricing strategy has been successful in attracting consumers' willingness to buy, especially after Huawei captured a portion of the high-end market share with its Mate 60 series phones.
