In episode 4 of the show Appointment with Youth , 5 guests had to take on the challenge of dressing up to age in order to get acquainted with some outstanding elderly men and women at a nursing home and invite them to collaborate on a performance.

After the draw, MC Lai Van Sam, who identified himself as Dinh Bach Chieu, will be sharing a room with the excellent teacher Tran Duc Vien. Mr. Tran Duc Vien has 40 years of experience teaching dance, and among his students is Meritorious Artist Le Van.

Listening to the sharing of teacher Tran Duc Vien, MC Lai Van Sam expressed his admiration. However, when the male MC asked Mr. Tran Duc Vien to guide him in some dance moves so that they could perform together in the program the next day, this teacher flatly refused.

Under the persuasion of the nurses, teacher Tran Duc Vien agreed to return to the room to continue instructing MC Lai Van Sam. However, just a few minutes later, Mr. Tran Duc Vien continued to refuse: "I can't do it! I beg you, how can I teach that person?"

With this development, MC Lai Van Sam became the first of the 5 guests to be eliminated from the challenge. Before the failure of his senior, artist Thanh Thuy happily shared:

"Mr. Sam was eliminated from the beginning of this challenge. I heard that Mr. Sam was angry when people refused."

MC Lai Van Sam himself had to exclaim: "What am I that people don't accept me?"

However, the male MC was not too upset about being eliminated from the challenge. At the end of the show, an old woman recognized his identity and removed his wig, no longer having to "pretend" to be someone else.

Because he could not compete with the other 4 teams, MC Lai Van Sam was asked to be a judge for the other teams.
