Expanding the subjects honored in the program "Sharing with teachers"

On August 20, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training and other units to hold a press conference to announce the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2024.

This is the 10th year the "Sharing with Teachers" program has been organized, marking "10 years for the journey of happy teaching and learning" with many practical and meaningful activities to honor teachers. According to the organizers, the teachers selected for the honor are those who have made many contributions, created outstanding changes in the quality and effectiveness of education in the locality; have the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and are dedicated to their profession.

In particular, the program prioritizes teachers with many years of experience; young teachers who volunteer to teach in the locality; teachers with excellent achievements in their work. Time of direct teaching participation is 3 years or more.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, said that this year, the organizing committee expanded the number of teachers to be honored, to encourage the spirit of teachers in many regions, working in many specific fields, such as prison guards and reformatory centers. In addition, this year, gratitude journeys and accompanying activities will be promoted.

From August to November, the program will deploy a comprehensive long-term campaign. Many influential people in society (KOLs) will participate in the program such as Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam, Miss H'Hen Nie, Miss Luong Thuy Linh. The program also calls for the cooperation of society to have more resources to support teachers in a more practical and effective way.

The 2024 “Sharing with Teachers” program award ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20, 2024, in Hanoi. The awarded teachers will receive certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; commemorative medals and savings books worth 10 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, there will be many activities such as the contest "Showing gratitude to teachers - Sharing with teachers" on the social network TikTok, organizing a journey to show gratitude to teachers in three regions of the country, the program "Press sharing with teachers"...
