Bun flower season in full bloom in the heart of the capital

(Fatherland) - Hundred-year-old vermicelli flowers are blooming, showing off their brilliant colors in April in the capital.

Bun flower is a beautiful flower loved in the world. In Vietnam, bun flower is grown in many Central regions such as: Hue, Quang Nam , Ninh Thuan... Hanoi currently has bun flower trees blooming brightly in one street corner.

The first vermicelli flower tree known to Hanoians and considered the only one in Hanoi was about 7-8 years ago located at the end of Dinh Thon village (My Dinh, Hanoi).

According to the people of Dinh Thon village, this vermicelli flower tree is over 300 years old and has a wide canopy.

The people here consider the flower tree as the "treasure" of the village so everyone cherishes it, not daring to pick the flowers or break the branches. The people are always conscious of preserving and taking care of this flower tree.

The flower of the vermicelli plant is also called white flower or man man. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance and bloom in clusters.

Blooms quickly but will fade after only 1 month. The time when the flowers bloom is usually around the end of March or the beginning of April every year. The time when the flowers bloom is also the time when people around here come to capture these rare beautiful moments.

In addition to its beauty, the vermicelli plant also has many uses, such as its edible fruit and medicinal properties.

This is the second vermicelli tree known after its images went viral on social networks.

This vermicelli plant is located in Ha Tri village (Ha Cau, Ha Dong, Hanoi).

Many people in Ha Tri village said that no one knows the real age of the tree, only that this vermicelli tree is older than any middle-aged person.

The vermicelli tree grows right next to the ancient Ha Tri communal house.

Mr. Tuan Anh (Ha Tri, Ha Dong) said: "Since I was a child, I have seen this vermicelli plant growing right in front of my house. In Hanoi, I heard that this plant is rare."

This vermicelli flower tree is also considered by the people of Ha Tri village as a "treasure" and the pride of the village. Without anyone telling them, the villagers always cherish and take care of the vermicelli tree carefully.

The third vermicelli flower tree is located at 16 Chua Boc Street, Hanoi. Although located right on a busy central street, this vermicelli flower tree is located deep inside the premises of a traditional medicine cooperative, so few people pay attention to it.

This vermicelli flower tree is carefully taken care of by the cooperative members and it always blooms at the end of March and beginning of April.

Bun flowers grow in clusters at the ends of branches, yellow and white flowers mixed with the green of the leaves.

Some small vermicelli shops are hidden in old apartment buildings in the capital Hanoi.
