National Day parade
The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80) took place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. The program was broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV), local stations, social media platforms, etc.
The A80 parade was organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the National Assembly, the President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi City. There were 6 forces participating in the parade, including: Traditional Torchbearer and Fire Guard; Artillery Force; Air Force flying salute; Parade and marching force; Background force; Formation and letter formation force. Of which, the parade and marching force had 4 ceremonial blocks; 43 blocks representing the people's armed forces; foreign military blocks; Military vehicles, artillery, special police vehicles; Parade force at sea; 12 mass parade blocks; 1 Culture - Sports block.
VTV also announced a live broadcast of the A80 Parade on VTV1 from 6am to 9:15am on September 2. Specifically, from 6am to 6:25am, the atmosphere before the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march will be broadcast live; from 6am to 8:45am is the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march. After the ceremony, VTV1 will broadcast live the National Day celebration atmosphere and behind-the-scenes stories of rehearsals and preparations for the A80 Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march.
VTV informs domestic TV channels and electronic newspapers to rebroadcast and broadcast live on social networks. The unit requests that the units rebroadcast the program intact, and at the same time, through the existing VTV1 channel transmission infrastructure, not cover or replace VTV's logo.
In particular, with the approval of VTV, CGV cinema system will broadcast live at the theater the entire program of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and A80 parade. With CGV's cinematic quality sound and images, the audience will clearly feel the solemn and heroic atmosphere in the capital Hanoi. National Concert "What Remains" 2025
The national concert program “What remains forever” is organized by VietNamNet Newspaper on the afternoon of September 2 every year, and has been maintained for the past 14 years. This year, “What remains forever” will be held at the Hoan Kiem Theater, Hanoi, and broadcast live on VTV1 at 2 p.m.
The national concert “What remains forever” 2025 will bring carefully selected vocal and instrumental performances, with musician Tran Manh Hung as music director. The program will take the audience on the country's 80-year journey through music. The audience will travel from North to South through the songs: “Song Lo”, “Huong ve Ha Noi”, “Bai ca Ha Noi”, “Gui em chioc con con tho”, “Nha Trang mua thu lai ve”, “Gio phong ban phuong”, “Sai Gon is very beautiful”, “Hue - Sai Gon - Ha Noi”, “A lap Viet Nam”... “Seeds of Happiness” broadcast simultaneously in Vietnam and Cuba
The program “VTV Special” with the documentary “Seeds of Happiness” will be broadcast at 8:10 p.m. on September 2, 2025 on VTV1 and simultaneously on Cubavisión - Cuba National Television. This is a special television highlight on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
This documentary film, produced by VTV and made in Cuba, recreates the journey of bringing Vietnamese rice varieties to Cuba, contributing to strengthening the special friendship between the two countries. It is the story of Vietnam transferring special rice varieties, including CT16 rice variety, to Cuba, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and the rare deep and loyal friendship between the two peoples.
With a duration of 60 minutes, the film helps the audience understand more about the journey of CT16 rice growing and flourishing in the fields of the faraway land of Pinar del Rio. Director Nguyen Duc De said that this is a documentary without commentary, telling the story through images, sounds and sharing of the characters.
