In the first days of the new school year, the atmosphere at Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School (Suoi Trai Commune) was more bustling when 50 poor students of the school received new sets of textbooks. Holding in her hands a set of books that still smelled of ink, Kpa Ngoc Khuyet, a 3A student at Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School, shared: "I have never studied with a brand new set of books like this. Until now, I have only borrowed old books from my seniors. With new books, I will try my best to study better." Behind those innocent words is an indescribable happiness, because the simple gifts have touched the dreams of children in difficult areas.

According to Mr. Vo Dinh Tho, Principal of the school, the gifts from Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company not only support students materially but also encourage their spirit, especially those from poor and near-poor households. Students at Nguyen Chi Thanh Primary School and Tran Cao Van Secondary School in Binh Kien Ward have also received similar joy. 33 scholarships, each worth 300,000 VND, were awarded by Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company, with the hope of sharing some of the hardships with students in the new school year.

Danh Thi Hong Tham, a 4th grade student at Nguyen Chi Thanh Primary School, is in an extremely difficult situation as she suffers from brittle bone disease. Tham confided: Due to the disease, I cannot take care of myself, my mother had to quit her job to stay at home to take care of me and take me to school every day. The whole family only depends on the little money my father earns from his sea trips, so the family's finances are very difficult. With the care and support from the school and other units, I feel very comforted.
