Heat waves continue, but with decreasing intensity

According to the weather report from August 11 to September 10 just provided by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the month from now until September 10, the rainfall across the country is generally approximately the average of many years.

During the forecast period, there is a possibility of 1-2 storms or tropical depressions appearing in the East Sea, with the potential to affect the mainland.

During this same period, the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue may experience some widespread heavy rains. The Central Highlands and the South may have showers and thunderstorms in the evening for many days, with some days having heavy rain.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also noted that storms, tropical depressions and the Southwest monsoon could cause strong winds and large waves, affecting the activities of ships at sea. Heavy rains could cause flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas. Hot weather could lead to drought and water shortages in the South Central region.
