(CLO) The poem "Thinking from a pair of swans" by journalist and poet Nguyen Hong Vinh tells about the intimate life and love of a pair of white swans with simple verses but evokes in readers a philosophy about human life. Swans are animals, and when the male dies, the female becomes sad and depressed, refuses to eat for a week, and finally goes far away to follow her husband, showing her loyal love. Humans differ from animals in that they have high level of awareness, know how to think and act according to natural and social laws to survive and develop. Yet in the era of market mechanisms, people, due to greed and selfishness, look at others with jealousy, even make up stories to slander others. From there, the author asks the question: through the story of the pair of swans, who have that kind of heart, are a little moved?!
The editorial board respectfully introduces this poem:
REFLECTIONS FROM THE SWANS
Since the day of the white swans
Inseparable day and night
With the colorful fish
The lake water never dries up
Unknown in the cold winter
The guy suddenly left
She was moody all week.
Stop eating and drinking immediately!
Like every morning
The owner was shocked to see
She lay motionless.
Follow your husband to the underworld!
The owner stood there dumbfounded.
Tears streamed down her cheeks
Night comes with a burning nostalgia
Love two loyal animals
Rambling thoughts about the world
Some people hold grudges against each other.
Scrutinize, hate, envy
Sick without a visit?!
The swan love story is still there
Live the full meaning of the years
Hey you who have bad intentions
Thinking about it makes me a little moved?!
