Which bank works until the 29th of Tet?

According to Notice No. 5015 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday schedule, it will last from February 8, 2024 to February 14, 2024. The total number of days off is 7, including 5 Tet holidays and 2 compensatory days off due to the weekend. Thus, the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday schedule of banks will also last from February 8, 2024 to February 14, 2024.

Banks open until the 29th of Tet

Based on this holiday schedule, most banks such as Vietcombank, Vietinbank, BIDV, Agribank, Sacombank, ACB... have a holiday schedule from February 8 to February 14. Only Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) will operate 46 business units in Hanoi, Da Nang, Bac Ninh, Quang Nam , Hue, Lam Dong, Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City... until February 8, the 29th day of the Lunar New Year. The bank will be closed from Friday, February 9 (the 30th day of the Lunar New Year) to February 14 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), and will resume business from Thursday, February 15 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year). This is the second year that Pvcombank has extended the end-of-year customer service days.

During the holidays, customers can still make all transactions on digital banking, card transactions, ATM/POS systems. Some banks offer preferential programs for customers when making transactions during the holidays. For example, VIB implements "Tet of reunion love" for credit card holders who spend from the 1st to the 10th day of Tet will get a refund; receive lucky money up to 50%, celebrate Tet happily with MyVIB when paying for transactions from 100,000 VND by scanning VNPAY -QR code.
