Nghe An receives more than 1.1 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3

On the afternoon of August 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a reception to receive gifts to support people in the western communes of Nghe An affected by storm No. 3.

This gift includes 600 million VND in cash and some essential foods, with a total value of more than 1.1 billion VND. This is the heart and result of donations from benefactors from the Nghe Tinh Folk Song Club under the Nghe An Association in Hanoi, the Institute for Proactive Health Care Research under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Southern Regional Office in Ho Chi Minh City and the North Central Regional Office.

At the reception, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province expressed their sincere thanks to the groups and individuals who had timely activities and sent many meaningful gifts to share the losses with the people of Nghe An after the recent storm.

According to preliminary statistics, the two recent storms have caused Nghe An nearly 3,000 billion VND in damage. Therefore, these meaningful gifts and timely sharing will help people overcome the current difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives and production./.
