(NLDO) - On February 9, social networks shared a clip of a man wearing a traffic police uniform continuously yelling at a girl.
The clip shows a man in a traffic police uniform repeatedly saying to a girl: "Are you deaf or not..."
At this time, the girl kept saying "Yes, I understand. Let me ask my friend...". Then the man replied: "Are you guys kidding me?".
The image went viral on social media.
The clip shared by the online community has negatively affected the image of the traffic police force. At the same time, many people expressed sympathy for the girl when she had to endure the man's harsh words.
To clarify the above information, a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper spoke with the family of the girl in the clip.
According to the girl’s family, on February 7, the girl and another person rode a motorbike from Tan An City ( Long An Province) to a college in Ho Chi Minh City to submit their application. Because it was her first time, she used Google Map to find the way.
At about 7:00 p.m. the same day, he returned. When he reached the Nguyen Van Linh overpass (in Ho Chi Minh City), a person in traffic police uniform asked him to stop because he was entering a prohibited road.
"She should have run up to the bridge, but because she didn't know the way, she ran down to the road below the bridge," said the girl's family.
In addition, this person also said that the girl did not bring her driver's license (she passed the driver's license test but has not yet received it), and the girl was driving a car that was not hers (her father's car).
The reporter is currently continuing to contact the girl and the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to continue clarifying the information.
