Former President Truong Tan Sang attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at Thien Ho Duong High School.

On the morning of September 5, Thien Ho Duong High School (Kien Tuong Ward, Tay Ninh Province) held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the tradition of Vietnam's Education sector and open the new school year 2025-2026.

Attending the event were former Politburo member, former President Truong Tan Sang; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam; along with leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Kien Tuong ward, Board of Directors, teachers and students of Thien Ho Duong High School.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Thien Ho Duong High School has 717 students/21 classes, with 52 staff and teachers. At the end of the school year, the school had 323 students awarded the title of excellent student, the high school graduation rate reached 100%, the rate of admission to universities and colleges reached 78.8%. Notably, the school had 1 student who was valedictorian of the Mathematics Pedagogy program at Can Tho University.

The school participates well in emulation movements for good study, cultural and artistic movements, and sports, achieving many high achievements.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have 618 students in 20 classes. The school will promote innovation in teaching methods, testing and evaluating students, focusing on moral education, lifestyle and soft skills for students; promoting digital transformation, including the application of information technology in teaching and management.

On this occasion, former Politburo member and former President Truong Tan Sang presented valuable books on the biography of National Hero Vo Duy Duong to the school's 10th grade students; Saigon - Tay Bac Urban Development Joint Stock Company donated VND50 million to the school's Scholarship Fund; the school awarded 30 scholarships with a total value of VND20 million to students in difficult circumstances./.
