Hanoi Opera House opens 3,000m2 outdoor music space

Hanoi Opera House is a national monument and a famous cultural site in the center of the capital. Through many historical changes and ups and downs, this symbolic work of scholarly art is still preserved and its cultural and artistic values are promoted.

Over the past decades, this place has organized many unique and high-quality art programs, performed by many generations of famous domestic and foreign singers.

Recently, the Opera House has innovated by introducing a unique music space to the audience called the Music Garden. The outdoor music space with an area of 3,000m2 brings a comfortable and pleasant feeling, with a garden paved with artificial grass, decorated with miniature landscapes to serve guests to check-in.

The Opera House plans to organize cultural events combined with traditional musical instruments, to promote and preserve culture, and at the same time introduce it to international visitors. In particular, the Hanoi Opera House also cooperates with embassies of countries around the world , bringing music from other countries to interact with Vietnamese audiences.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet - Director of Hanoi Opera House said that at the Music Garden, audiences can choose many different time slots to enjoy this unique musical space.

Specifically, in the morning from 9am to 12pm there will be performances of traditional musical instruments and classical music; in the afternoon from 1pm to 6pm there will be performances of traditional musical instruments and classical music; from 7:30pm to 10pm there will be classical and modern music performances.

In particular, live concert performances by famous domestic and foreign singers on special occasions at the Music Garden campus promise to create unique and impressive experiences.

According to conductor Luu Quang Minh, the space has similarities with many performance venues of international classical artists. "The music garden looks ancient and romantic, but at the same time makes the audience feel close and comfortable," the conductor said.

Singer Tang Ngan Ha expressed that she had performed on the stage of the Opera House, it was a very special feeling because everyone said this place is the musical sanctuary of Hanoi. Today, once again she performed here but in an interesting outdoor space.

''I think the Music Garden will be a place where many artists can organize mini shows to thank the audience in a close, friendly way. With a central location like this, domestic and foreign tourists when coming to Hanoi will choose to enjoy music'' , Tang Ngan Ha said.
