Human dignity and peace'

This is an art photography contest to celebrate the United Nations Vesak Day 2025 held at the Vietnam Buddhist Academy (HCMC) from May 6 to 8, 2025. The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers nationwide and internationally .

The work "The Bell of Peace" won first prize in the contest "Buddhism and Peace"

The content of the Buddhist Wisdom Photo Contest: Human Dignity and Peace includes the following topics: Humanistic values ​​in Buddhism; Peace and harmony; Buddhist cultural heritage; Influence of Buddhism on life; Honoring Vesak; Nature and environment.

Each author submits a maximum of 10 photos, color or monochrome. The organizers accept all types of adjustments but the photos must not be stitched together, and must be sent in digital files in JPEG format, 300 dpi resolution, and 5MB or less in size. Deadline for receiving photos: from the date of launching the contest to March 31, 2025, judging photos from April 2 to 9 and announcing the results on April 12, 2025, awarding prizes and opening the exhibition before the United Nations Day of Vesak 2025 (expected May 4, 2025).

The prizes include: 1 first prize worth 20 million VND, 2 second prizes worth 10 million VND/prize, 3 third prizes worth 5 million VND/prize and 5 consolation prizes worth 2 million VND/prize.

The work " By the Bodhisattva Statue" won second prize in the Buddhism and Peace contest.

In 2023, the Buddhist art photography contest with peace organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Research Institute attracted 1,200 entries.
