Fire Jumping

Fire dancing is a typical festival of the Pa Then people, usually held on the 16th day of the first lunar month every year to thank the gods for a year of good crops, a prosperous life, and healthy villagers without illness.

Introduction: Dancing in the red-hot coals in the Fire Dance Festival of the Pa Then people in Chiem Hoa (Tuyen Quang) is a primitive belief, a belief in the world of gods and supernatural forces. According to the custom of early Spring, the shamans in the village will hold a Fire Dance (fire-ball) ceremony to recruit students and pass on the shaman profession.
