In 2025, Ha Tinh 's key export items such as textiles and garments, textile fibers and yarns of all kinds, tea, wood chips, etc. will record positive growth. The main reason is that businesses have focused on investing and modernizing production processes, creating a competitive position in the international market.
In addition, a series of new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) have been signed, creating a legal corridor for import-export enterprises. Seizing the opportunity, Ha Tinh enterprises have also proactively exploited the FTAs to the fullest, opening up development opportunities.

In recent times, the textile and garment industry has not been immune to pressure, especially from the new US tariff policy. Therefore, Ha Tinh garment enterprises have on the one hand improved production capacity, optimized and saved costs to maintain competitiveness, and on the other hand, taken advantage of 17 FTAs to diversify export markets, avoiding dependence on the US.
Mr. Tran Bao Khanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Ha Tinh Garment Factory 10 (Vung Ang Economic Zone) shared: "The unit has exploited opportunities from FTAs to gradually connect the supply chain and export such as: Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement, Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans- Pacific Partnership, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement... We have signed orders until the second quarter of 2026 with the markets of China, the US, Japan... The enterprise is looking to European countries to seek wider market opportunities".
Ha Tinh has 13 large-scale garment projects and 10 small-scale projects with a total investment of over VND2,500 billion. Many establishments have been "covered" with orders for the next half year, demonstrating the potential and initiative in production and business of local garment enterprises. In the first 9 months of 2025, Ha Tinh's textile and garment export turnover reached about 34.85 million USD, an increase of 66.51% over the same period in 2024.

Similarly, textile fibers and yarns of all kinds are also items that continuously record strong growth. In the first 9 months of 2025, the export turnover of this item reached about 9.1 million USD, an increase of 84.21% over the same period in 2024.
Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of the Trade Union of Song La Xanh Packaging Joint Stock Company (Duc Tho Industrial Park) said: "Quality products and reasonable prices are the "strengths" for businesses to boost exports to the Asian region with revenue reaching 155 billion VND in 9 months. At the end of the year, we will study free trade agreements such as CPTPP, EVFTA... to expand export markets to EU member countries, Japan, Canada, Australia... These FTAs bring opportunities thanks to deep tax cuts commitments, strict regulations on trade in goods and services, helping packaging businesses take advantage of competitive advantages to develop".

Recently, India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia... continue to be Ha Tinh's largest tea export markets with an export output of over 2,300 tons of tea in the first 9 months of 2025, worth about 4.1 million USD.
Mr. Tran Quoc Sy - Chief Accountant of Ha Tinh Tea Joint Stock Company said: "In 2025, the company aims to export 2,600 tons of tea and is expected to exceed the plan in October. To achieve this success, the company focuses on developing organic raw material areas, increasing product value; building and promoting the brand, raising awareness of domestic and international consumers about the value of Ha Tinh tea; making the most of e-commerce platforms and online marketing to expand the market. The company will continue to participate in seminars and forums to update information and trends, and move towards negotiating and signing cooperation agreements with new countries."
A positive signal is that wood chips, after facing difficulties in the market, have now recorded a recovery with export turnover in the first 9 months of 2025 reaching about 48.26 million USD, contributing to the province's export balance.

Mr. Vo Ta Nghia - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said: To boost export activities in the last months of the year, the department is building a policy to support export and provincial logistics for the period 2026-2030, supporting businesses in market information and warning, enhancing trade promotion to connect supply and demand for new and potential markets; promoting propaganda and dissemination of FTAs so that the business community can better grasp and take advantage of them.
The Department will also continue to review and coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business projects of enterprises, promote administrative procedure reform, and create favorable conditions for enterprises to participate in import and export.
As for businesses participating in exports in the area, they need to be more proactive and flexible, closely following information and recommendations from the Government and ministries and branches; promptly adjusting production and business activities to strictly comply with market regulations; investing in research, applying technology, and improving management capacity to increase product competitiveness.
FTAs have created a legal corridor for Vietnamese goods to penetrate large markets, so Ha Tinh import-export enterprises need to make the most of incentives from the agreements; equip themselves with knowledge of trade defense, and cooperate closely with management agencies to effectively respond to anti-dumping, anti-subsidy or self-defense investigations from foreign countries.
