Many universities switched to online learning due to the impact of floods.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities , Vietnam National University, Hanoi has just announced to organize online teaching from the afternoon of September 10. The school said that, based on the Official Dispatch of Vietnam National University, Hanoi on urgently deploying to respond to storm No. 3 and based on the complicated weather developments, all courses will be organized online teaching until further notice.

Students of the University of Economics , Vietnam National University, Hanoi also started switching to online learning on Microsoft Teams from the afternoon of September 10.

Based on the complicated weather situation after storm No. 3, the School announces that all students will study online on Microsoft Teams from the afternoon of September 10, 2024 until further notice.

The University of Law , Vietnam National University, Hanoi said that the class schedule for students of the 69th course in Hoa Lac continues to be postponed.

“Due to the impact of storm No. 3, many northern provinces are experiencing serious flooding and facing many difficulties in overcoming the consequences of the storm. Therefore, to ensure the safety of K69 students during their journey from the provinces to Hanoi, the School continues to postpone the class schedule of K69 students to September 16” – the School’s announcement clearly stated.

The week off school due to the storm will be compensated by the reserve week of Semester I of the 2024 - 2025 school year.

Faced with the complicated developments of rain and floods in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, to ensure the safety of students, the University of Education , Vietnam National University, Hanoi has switched to organizing online learning for all new students for the following activities: Integration Week for full-time university students in the 2024-2025 school year; Student Dialogue Program at the beginning of the year; Health check-up program at the beginning of the year for new students.
