Information, propaganda, and awareness raising work for union members, association members and people about the basic contents of key programs and projects in the field of agriculture and rural development were well implemented. Thereby, raising people's awareness and making clear changes in production organization.
Specifically, in cultivation, concentrated commodity production areas have been formed associated with production organization in the direction of linking large fields. From 2018 to now, production has been restructured towards applying high technology associated with promoting the efficiency of the Tan My irrigation system, so the area of proactive irrigation production reached 62.38%, an increase of 2.38% compared to 2020 and converted 1920.7 ha/2,500 ha of ineffective land to specific crops with high economic efficiency, reaching 76.83%; converting crop structure associated with investing in water-saving irrigation systems on over 1,523 ha; deployed 35 large fields/4,719.8 ha, reaching 100% of the plan; 15 growing areas have been granted growing area codes by the Plant Protection Department with a scale of 215,534 ha; The average production value per hectare of cultivated land reached 143.8 million VND/ha/year, an increase of 43.8 million VND/ha/year compared to 2017; the production value of the crop cultivation industry in the 2021-2023 period increased by an average of 6.3%/year.

In livestock farming, gradually and sustainably transform livestock farming methods towards focusing on biosafety, increasing the proportion of medium and large-scale farm farming (105 farms applying advanced and high technology, including 51 pig farms, 12 poultry farms, 7 sheep farms, 4 goat farms and 31 cow farms), creating a large volume of commodity products, high productivity, quality and competitiveness. Strengthening livestock breed management, applying science and technology in livestock breeding (maintaining the crossbreeding rate of goats and sheep at 90% and increasing the crossbreeding rate of cows to 51%). The production value of the livestock industry in the period of 2021-2023 increased by an average of 6.03%/year, high and quite stable, gradually becoming the main production industry in agriculture.
Regarding the development of exploitation and aquaculture associated with seafood processing, up to now, 100% of vessels are members of solidarity groups, with more than 90% of workers on fishing vessels having received vocational training; in addition, fishermen have been instructed to organize production activities in offshore areas according to the model of solidarity groups at sea (170 groups/810 vessels); connecting fishing ground forecast bulletins to solidarity groups during the exploitation process to limit risks encountered when fishing offshore. The whole province has over 450 shrimp seed production facilities (of which, 2 parent shrimp seed production enterprises have a production capacity of more than 20,000 pairs/year; 25 shrimp seed enterprises belong to the group with a minimum production capacity of 0.5 billion post larvae/enterprise/year) and 20 marine fish seed production facilities; annually supplying more than 40 billion shrimp seeds, accounting for more than 33% of the country's seed production.

The results achieved in agricultural, rural and rural development have contributed positively to the province's new rural development program. Up to now, the criteria in the basic economic and social infrastructure group have met the standards. It is estimated that by the end of 2023, the whole province will have 2/7 districts and cities meeting the new rural district standards; 33/47 communes meeting the new rural commune standards, reaching 70.2%, of which 14 communes meet the advanced new rural commune standards; 50/254 villages meeting the new rural village standards, of which 2 villages meet the model new rural village standards.
To continue effectively implementing the coordination program between the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial Farmers' Association, according to comrade Dang Kim Cuong, in the coming time, the industry will continue to coordinate propaganda, mobilization, and support farmers in economic development, building new rural areas associated with restructuring the agricultural sector. Focus on promoting the development of agricultural products with advantages of each region and locality along with building concentrated commodity production areas to meet market requirements, associated with digitalization of growing areas; innovating the form of production and business organization according to the value chain associated with consumption; applying digital technology in management and e-commerce, developing OCOP products for export... striving to create jobs and increase income for rural residents at least 1.5 times compared to 2020.
