Located on the Vietnam - China border, Ban Gioc waterfall (Cao Bang province) is known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam, the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia and the fourth largest border waterfall in the world .
Ban Gioc Waterfall is over 60m high, with the longest slope being 30m. The waterfall is divided into many successive limestone layers and stretches out to hundreds of meters. For a long time, Turtle Tower in Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi) has become a familiar tourist symbol to locals and tourists.
The tower was built on a mound of about 350 square meters, the height from the mound base to the top is 8.8 meters.
The tower is rectangular. The first floor is 6.28m long with two sides facing East and West, each side has three doors. The width is 4.54m, each side has two doors. The doors are all built in a curved shape, with a tapered top. The second floor is 4.8m long, 3.64m wide and has the same architecture as the first floor.
The third floor is 2.97m long and 1.9m wide. This floor has only one circular door on the east side, 0.68m in diameter, above the door are the three words Quy Son Thap, meaning Turtle Mountain Tower. The top floor resembles a square watchtower, each side is 2m.
